We’re Mark and Katherine Goodlad, the husband-and-wife team behind The Working Dog Clinic.
We opened this clinic because we saw what was missing - straightforward, experienced care for working dogs, especially tail docking services that were getting harder to find. Based in North Lincolnshire, everything we do reflects the way rural life really works.
Mark is a vet with over 15 years of experience, trained in Edinburgh, and previously ran a busy multi-site practice. In 2022, we sold that business to build something smaller, more personal, and focused on what matters most to us - and our clients.
Katherine has run vet businesses for years and grew up with working dogs, hawks, and ferrets. She knows the pace and pressure of rural life and understands how vital these dogs are - from sport and breeding, to working the land.
We know these dogs aren't just pets - they're part of your livelihood. And they deserve care that respects both the job they do and the people who rely on them.
